Solange Knowles Rocks The Cape Trend at Her Wedding

Solange Knowles really gives her sister Beyonce a run for the money in the coolness department. She is so cool she rocked two very hard trends together at her wedding! She wore a beautiful cream pantsuit with a cape by Stéphane Rolland  and, of course, her signature red lip!

Knowles tied the knot with video director Alan Ferguson in New Orleans on Sunday in front of about 200 family and friends, PEOPLE confirms. The couple said "I do" at the Marigny Opera House in New Orleans. Around 2 p.m., the pair arrived via white-painted vintage bicycles with matching white flowers. 

Knowles actually sported six outfits over the duration of the weekend and a few white dresses made the cut including a bell-sleeved, Ellery number and golden Loeffler Randall heels. She also wore a Kenzo wedding dress (with another cape) and with Lady Grey cuffs and then another jumpsuit with a cape! 

Capes were a big theme at Monique Lhuillier's Spring 2014 bridal show. Capes provide a very dramatic and enchanting effect that is also modern and sophisticated. Jumpsuits are also a new edgy trend for brides. Last year, designers like J.Crew, Rivini, Viktor & Rolf and Temperley Bridal debuted bridal jumpsuits in dreamy laces and silks.
