Rachel Platten Performs at World Series in Solemates

Oh Say Can You See?  Rachel Platten performed the National Anthem to open the World Series last night wearing her signature smile and a pair of Solemates High Heelers to a packed house of almost 40,000 Cleveland and Cubs fans.  

While the two teams are long term rivals, there was not a fan in the house who wasn’t swayed by Rachel’s rousing rendition.  The Boston native was educated at Trinity College in Hartford and first made a splash on the scene with her 2015 hit “Fight Song”.  Fans grew quickly as Platten was able to charm them with her authenticity as much as her talent.

Last night’s performance on the grass at Progressive Field marks the artist’s first World Series performance, but the second time that Solemates have appeared at the Series.  Last October, artist Demi Lovato wore Solemates to game 6 at Citifield in Queens.
