Lauren Conrad Followed Her Rules and Had An Awesome Bachelorette
Everyone's favorite upcoming celebrity bride Lauren Conrad had a great bachelorette weekend. The bride to be as well as her BFF Lo Bosworth shared many pictures on Instagram and it looked pretty darn fun. From lounging at the beach to fun headbands, it looked like a ball.
And it also seemed that Lauren followed her own Bachelorette party rules which she posted on her site earlier this month. They included:
1. Make it about the bride
Conrad wrote, "The absolute, most important rule of etiquette when it comes to bachelorette parties is this: You are celebrating a very special bride-to-be, and this weekend is all about her. I’ve been to a handful of bachelorettes where some of the bridesmaids and guests lose sight of this, and make the festivities about them and what they want to do."
2. Be respectful when it comes to social media
Yes, we all love our Instagram and Facebook but not every single event of the night needs to be documented and shared with the whole world. You want the bride to cut loose and she may not do that if she is worried about her mom and husband to be seeing every photo from the night. Conrad wrote, "Bachelorettes can get a bit wild (depending on who you’re with and who you’re celebrating), and some of the photos you take should never see the light of day. Just make sure to get approval from the rest of the bach’ party before you post/tweet/etc."
3. Don't make it all about the alcohol
Yes, drinking is often a big part of bachelorettes but it really should not be the sole focus. You don't want to get so hammered that you literally cannot function the next and remember any of the party!
In addition to those rules, Lauren also branded her friends with adorable tattoos:
The Paper Crown designer has been engaged to ex-Something Corporate rocker Tell since last October. "I had no idea it was coming," she told Cosmopolitan in January. "He didn't even ask my friends [about the ring], which was a bold move. He said, 'I know you, and I know what you like.' And I love it. It's perfect."
