Pippa Middleton, nicknamed the "Ultimate Bridesmaid" after her show-stopping debut at big sister Kate's wedding, is finally getting her time in the sun. Being the little sister to the future Queen comes with its highs and lows, but there is no question that tomorrow's wedding will be squarely about one woman only, Philippa Charlotte Middleton.
While this momentous event will not be viewed live by millions around the globe, the way that Kate's was, we are obsessed with knowing as much about it as we possibly can. We've leveraged some across-the-pond resources and on-the-ground experts to help give us as much scoop as possible. Will Solemates be present? If only we had the legal right to talk about it!!
Here's what we know:
(1) Pippa's Dress:
Giles Deacon is rumored to be the designer of Pippa’s bespoke designer dress,' says Bridebook founder Hamish Shephard. Giles previously designed Abbey Clancy’s stunning wedding dress for her marriage to England footballer Peter Crouch which cost $14,000. Estimate cost of Pippa's dress is closer to $40,000.
(2) The 16th Century Church.
The local church will be a tight squeeze for the wedding patrons as local church goers are also invited. Tis the local custom and we absolutely adore it.
(3) The Reception. Wow.
The glass conservatory-style structure that she is having installed in the garden of her family home is for Saturday’s celebrations. The bespoke glass orangery was shipped from Belgium to her family home in Berkshire. The process is being overseen by Peppers Marquees, which holds the only royal warrant for supplying marquees to the Prince of Wales. Estimated cost, $140,000.
(4) Megan Markle. No Ring, No....Oh wait. Prince Harry was granted an exception and will be bringing the American girlfriend slash Middleton doppleganger. Those who know say Megan will absolutely NOT be at the church ceremony, it would be gauche for her to appear and try to steal any spotlight from Pippa, but we shall see what comes.
(5) Wedding Favors!
The forecast for Pippa and James is not so sunny, but guests will be thrilled when they open their party favor gift bags. While we can't confirm or deny that Solemates will be included among their goodies, we can tell you that every guest will be incredibly well-heeled the wedding of the year.
