4 Ideas For A Wedding After-Party!
Are wedding after parties the new wedding? It seems so. With average wedding costs going way up(they hit an all-time high of $29,858 last year, according to TheKnot.com’s 2013 Real Weddings Study of 13,000 brides and grooms), there is no doubt that a lot of that budget is going into the after party and guest entertainment. Why should the celebration end just cause the venue closes at midnight? That just means you move the party somewhere else and by somewhere else we mean somewhere else fabulous. After all the wedding party is when guests can really cut loose (bridesmaids take off those heels and often change into casual wear, the bride usually stops caring about everything!) so you better make sure they are great (just make sure you hire a bus!)
Here are a few ideas for some fun wedding after parties:
1. Go to a casino
If you are near some casinos, why not take the troops out for a bit of gambling?
2. Head to the bar
If your wedding was on the fancy side, why not treat the crowd to a more casual scene where they can really let loose? How about a dive bar with a jukebox? Sounds perfect!
3. Bonfire
A bonfire is a great way to decompress after the big event especially on a beach or in a wooded area. Bring some beer and smores (if you have any room after the wedding cake), bust out the guitar and have some fun!
4. Go bowling!
Nothing says happy wedding like bowling shoes! But seriously, who doesn't love bowling?!
